Anonymous Relief Through Mail Art?

PostSecret is a blog that receives anonymous postcards with peoples' secrets via the mail, then scans and uploads them for others to see. The premise is interesting enough. I'm just waiting for these folks to get mixed up in a mass-murderer investigation once his confessions inevitably show up on their site.

How well do you know your brand ABCs?

Joey Katzen describes the Retail Alphabet Game as "one part puzzle, one part self assessment, and a pinch of postmodern art." And with endorsements from Schoolastic.com and Surfing the Net with Kids, which reviews web sites for "parents, kids, teens, grandparents, K-12 teachers, librarians and the incurably curious," I think "one part scary" is missing from that description. Nevertheless, it's one hell of a Brand ID brain teaser.

Logo Parody Exhibit Shut Down by L.A.P.D.?!?

I was sorry/shocked to learn of the logo parody exhibit Mark of the Beast held at the Transport Gallery in L.A. being shut down by the L.A.P.D. for its alleged "offensive and aggressive" content. La Santa Muerte, aka: Saint Death

A rather large sampling of the hundreds of photos that I've snapped over the years, in places like New York City, New Orleans, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and more.

Cult of the Goat

Bock Beer Labels and a Homonym Gone Awry

Devilish goats rear their ugly heads in these sinister looking beer labels from the U.S. and around the world. Includes a little bit of history on where this strange iconography came from.

45rpm Record Label Designs

Feast your eyes on this assortment of about one hundred labels and logos dating from the 1950s to the 1970s. I've been collecting these for a long time and thought I would share some of my favorites.

Un-Conventional Signage

2004 New York City RNC Protest Signs

Here are my photos of the best signs, stickers and slogans displayed during the Republican National Convention protest march in New York City.
