Anonymous Relief Through Mail Art?
May 18, 2005, 6:20 PM
PostSecret is a blog that receives anonymous postcards with peoples' secrets via the mail, then scans and uploads them for others to see. The premise is interesting enough. Mark of the Beast held at the Transport Gallery in L.A. being shut down by the L.A.P.D. for its alleged "offensive and aggressive" content. I'm currently busy at work on the
TARGETED exhibit intro essay and will certainly include this frightening example of what seems to be a trend where brand owners are turning to the courts and law enforcement to prorect their precious identities.

La Santa Muerte, aka: Saint Death

fledgling startup religion whose patron saint has the government there up in arms seems to be growing in popularity and their tchochkies are now available via internet web sites. I'd love to get my hands on one of
these statues.
