NOLA Under Siege
Hurricane Katrina is currently pounding my birthplace and home to several NoRelevance.com hand-painted treasures. My folks in Slidell fled north to Picayune, MS for higher ground, though they are still catching some hurricane force winds up there. The western eye wall passed right over their house this morning and who know's what will be there when they return. New Orleans may have missed the "Big One" by just a few miles, but the damage could still be severe. More later...
